Elcom Innovations is seeking attentive and hands-on QA Engineers to support field-level quality assurance of electronic and mechanical products, assemblies and installations. This role is ideal for diploma engineers with sound technical fundamentals, a strong eye for detail and the ability to identify anomalies before they become customer issues.

Role Responsibilities

- Conduct quality inspections of electronic and mechanical components, sub-assemblies, finished products and field installations.
- Verify incoming materials, in-process production and final products against approved drawings, BOMs, specifications, samples and checklists.
- Identify, record and report defects, deviations, workmanship issues, component mismatches and functional anomalies.
- Perform visual, dimensional and basic functional checks using relevant measuring and test instruments.
- Support root-cause investigation for quality issues and coordinate with production, engineering, vendors and project teams for corrective action.
- Prepare inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), quality checklists and photographic documentation.
- Ensure adherence to defined quality processes, work instructions, safety requirements and customer specifications.
- Conduct field visits at customer, vendor, production or installation locations as required.
- Monitor rework, rectification and closure of identified quality observations.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile
- Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.




- 2–3 years’ experience in quality assurance, quality inspection, production quality, field inspection or a similar role.
- Basic understanding of electronic components, wiring, PCB assemblies, connectors, testing practices and electrical/electronic faults.
- Basic understanding of mechanical parts, fabrication, assembly, dimensions, fitment and workmanship standards.
- Robust observation skills and a natural ability to spot deviations, defects and anomalies.
- Comfortable with a field-based role involving travel within and around the assigned location.
- Working knowledge of inspection tools such as vernier calipers, measuring tape, multimeter and basic test equipment is preferred.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings, specifications, checklists and process instructions is desirable.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Fluency in English and Hindi, both spoken and written.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, for reporting and documentation.
- Candidates who can join immediately or at short notice will be preferred.
