Description
Design, implement, and manage data protection and security controls across systems and applications.
Monitor, detect, and respond to data security incidents and breaches.
Conduct data classification, risk assessments, and vulnerability analysis.
Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or relevant local regulations).
Collaborate with IT, cloud, and application teams to secure databases, APIs, and data pipelines.
Perform security audits, access reviews, and policy enforcement.
Support encryption strategies for data at rest, in transit, and in use.
Document and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident reports.
Provide guidance on secure coding and data handling best practices.

Gualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
4+ years of experience in data security / information security roles.
Robust knowledge of:
Data security concepts (encryption, masking, tokenization)
Identity and Access Management (IAM)




Network security fundamentals
Hands-on experience with:
DLP tools (Symantec, McAfee, Microsoft Purview, etc.)
SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel)
Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Familiarity with database security (SQL, NoSQL).
Experience with incident response and threat analysis.
Understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
