Role Description The PTE Trainer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jalandhar. The trainer will deliver high-quality PTE preparation classes, including explaining exam formats, teaching test-taking strategies, and guiding learners through speaking, writing, reading, and listening modules. Daily responsibilities include planning lessons, creating or adapting study materials, assessing learner performance through mock tests, and providing detailed feedback to help learners reach their target scores.

The trainer will also conduct one-on-one mentoring sessions when required, maintain learner progress records,



and collaborate with the academy team to align teaching methods with institutional standards. In addition, the role includes supporting learners with confidence-building, performance under pressure, and effective communication skills relevant to high-stakes exams.

Qualifications

- Strong command of English language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with the ability to demonstrate and model PTE-specific strategies.
- Experience in PTE or other English proficiency exam training (such as IELTS, TOEFL, or LanguageCert), including familiarity with exam patterns, scoring criteria, and evaluation methods.
- Ability to design and deliver structured lesson plans, create targeted practice materials, and use mock tests to track and improve learner performance.
- Skills in mentoring and coaching, including giving constructive feedback, motivating learners, and supporting diverse learning styles in both group and individual settings.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills, with a learner-centric approach and the ability to create an inclusive, respectful, and engaging learning environment.
- Comfort with basic digital tools for teaching (presentation software, online test platforms, learning management systems) and maintaining learner progress records.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, Communication, or a related field; relevant certifications in PTE or English language teaching (e.g., TESOL, TEFL) are an advantage.
