: Proof Reader

We are looking for a sharp-eyed, detail-oriented, and language-proficient Proof Reader to ensure all outgoing content meets the highest standards of accuracy, clarity, and professionalism. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and quality-checking all written materials before final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Proofread and review all documents, presentations, reports, scripts, subtitles, voice-over copies, creative content, and final deliverables before submission.

Check grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, formatting, consistency, and readability in both English and Hindi.

Review film-related content including scripts, supers, captions, subtitles, lower thirds, graphics text, on-screen text, end slates, and credits.

Ensure all creative materials such as posters, brochures, social media creatives, campaign materials, and pitch decks are error-free.

Verify factual details, names, designations, dates, numbers, spellings, and terminology.

Maintain consistency in tone, language style, transliteration, and brand/government communication guidelines.

Coordinate with writers, designers, editors, translators, and production teams to correct errors before final release.

Conduct final quality checks on multilingual content prior to client delivery.





Ensure formatting and text alignment are correct in print, digital, and presentation materials.

Flag unclear, repetitive, or misleading content and suggest corrections where required.

Required Skills

Excellent command over English and Hindi language, grammar, and vocabulary.

Strong proofreading and editing skills with high attention to detail.

Ability to review both creative and formal/corporate/government communication content.

Familiarity with Hindi typing, Unicode text, and transliteration standards.

Ability to work under deadlines and review multiple deliverables quickly and accurately.

Valuable understanding of formatting in PowerPoint, Word, PDFs, subtitles, and creative layouts.

Strong concentration and quality-control mindset.

Preferred Background

Experience in Production House, Advertising Agency, Media House, Publishing, Government Communication, or Content Agency.

Exposure to scripts, subtitles, campaign materials, and bilingual communication will be an advantage.

Candidates with experience in government, corporate, or public communication projects preferred.

Qualification

- Graduate / Post Graduate in Hindi, English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Literature, Linguistics, or related fields.
