Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Team Lead who can lead a development team while remaining hands-on with software architecture, development, and delivery. The ideal candidate should have robust experience in Python/Django, React, REST APIs, databases, AWS, and full-stack development, along with proven team and project management skills.

Key Responsibilties

- Lead and mentor a team of software developers and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Manage the complete development lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment.
- Design and review scalable software architecture, APIs, and database structures.
- Stay hands-on with Python/Django, React, REST APIs,



and backend development.
- Manage and review code quality, development standards, and technical best practices.
- Work with Product, UI/UX, and other teams to understand requirements and plan deliverables.
- Conduct sprint planning, task allocation, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Identify technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and support the team in resolving them.
- Work with AWS, Git, CI/CD, and cloud-based applications.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Track project progress, timelines, and deliverables and provide regular updates to management.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuously improve development processes.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in software development, with experience in a leadership/team lead role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, Django/Django REST Framework, and React.
- Good knowledge of REST APIs, PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB, and database design.
- Experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, etc.
- Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD, software architecture, and system design.
- Experience managing and mentoring a development team.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum and project management.
