We are hiring for the position of Financial Controller for a well reputed construction company located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Candidates with prior experience in the Construction industry will be preferred.

The selected candidates will have to relocate to Jeddah.

The main role of a Financial Controller is to ensure the company's financial health by overseeing all financial planning and analysis activities.

Roles and responsibilities:
Tracking, reporting, and analyzing budget variances.
Reviewing the company's financial statements to ensure they are accurate.
Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance.
Forecasting future financial performance
Preparing and analyzing budgets
Providing accurate financial reports to management




Ensuring compliance with government regulations
Ensuring accuracy of financial statements
Overseeing all financial planning and analysis
Forecasting future performance
Recommending changes to improve financial performance.
Utilizing updated technologies for their job

Requirements
Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
6+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
Advanced degree in accounting
CPA or CMA preferred.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Experience with creating financial statements.
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
