Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and analytically minded IP qualified to join our team as an IP Analyst for Technology & Insights. In this role, you will be at the intersection of intellectual property, technology, and business strategy. You will leverage your deep expertise in patent analysis, augmented by up-to-date data and AI tools, to deliver actionable intelligence that guides our R&D;, legal, and business decisions. You are a strategic partner who transforms IP data into a competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities:




IP Analytics & Strategic Insights:
Conduct comprehensive patent landscape, whitespace, and freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses to identify innovation trends, partnership prospects, and potential risks.
Analyze competitor patent portfolios to deliver strategic intelligence, mapping their R&D; focus and predicting future product direction.
Utilize advanced search methodologies, including semantic and concept-based searching, to perform complex prior art and validity/invalidity investigations.
Collaborate with IP attorneys and R&D; teams to interpret analytical results, providing data-driven recommendations for IP strategy and risk mitigation.
Design and build interactive dashboards (e.g., in Tableau/Power BI) to allow stakeholders to explore IP intelligence in real-time.
