Position: Senior Full Stack Engineer, Data Platform

Work Mode: Hybrid
Location: Pune
Shift: Time zone overlap time with US 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm IST

Web applications are React + Node.js/Typescript, our data platform is a data lake in AWS.

Responsibilities:
Communicate with stakeholders. You will collaborate with Forge’s product, design, information security and business team members
Develop concise, articulate and detailed documentation
Leverage Agile and Lean practices
Be able to gather requirements and plan actionable tasks for the team
Design, implement, and maintain data-driven web applications
Design, build and maintain automated unit and integration tests
Support healthy system operations and ensure high levels of availability are achieved.



Be part of the on-call rotation during business hours

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent years of working experience in the field
5+ years of software engineering experience in web development
Experience developing with React and Node.js/Typescript
Extensive experience in building Rest API and familiarity with GraphQL SQL, Data modeling, and Data cleanup experience
Experience developing multi-tier web applications using up-to-date techniques (Containers, k8s, CI/CD, OpenAPI, AWS cloud)
Proven track record of teamwork and delivery
Fintech or Financial services industry experience is a plus

Nice to have:
Data Visualization experience (like Nivio Charts, Chart.js, D3.js)
Experience in JavaScript frameworks like NestJS, Refine.js or Next.js
Experience with contemporary data patterns (data lake, pipelines etc.) and python
