As a Data Scientist Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting the following tasks:
Adapt a generic classification algorithm based on keywords for specific regions, sources, and

displacement types.
Help to develop a methodology to distinguish flow and stock displacement data from text.
Extract and harmonize displacement information from historical Excel files.
Adapt data extraction pipelines using Large Language Models via prompt engineering for

conflict.
Develop a methodology to match conflict and disaster events to existing displacement

figures.
Develop a methodology to rank the relevance of displacement sources.
Build UX annotator modules to highlight extracted information for specific sources.
Implementing automated quality control measures to ensure the reliability of the extracted

data.

Key Deliverables include:

1: Adapt keywords to region and conflict displacement based on the already implemented

disaster.

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in data science or related field.
3 years of experience in data analysis and data mining.
Solid proficiency in Python, with a solid grasp of advanced object-oriented programming

concepts.
Demonstrated proficiency using GitHub.
Solid understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) methods.
Experience with Large Language Models
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preference for candidates in or near the GTM+2 time zone
Fluency in English; proficiency in additional langua
