Call for Applications for Video Specialist (R-12) – ANNAM.AI

Location: ANNAM.AI, Center of Excellence in AI for Agriculture, IIT Ropar (Onsite preferred; hybrid/remote may also be considered)

Type: Full time | Contractual | Renewable based on performance

Compensation: ₹10 - 18 Lakhs per annum (Based on qualifications and experience)

Performance Incentives: Additional incentives based on production quality, timely delivery, and project visibility, subject to Governing Board approval

Tenure: Initial appointment for 2 years, extendable up to 5 years

Minimum experience of 5+ years (May be relaxed in the case of exceptional candidates.)

Role Summary

The Video Specialist will be the technical expert for end-to-end video production at ANNAM.AI. This role requires mastery in camera handling, lighting, editing, sound design, and screenplay to produce skilled-grade educational, documentary, and Agriculture Q&A; videos. Working closely with the Ed Content Creator, the Video Specialist will execute high-quality productions that showcase ANNAM.AI’s impact.





Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Production
Execute pre-production, shooting, and post-production workflows.
Handle skilled cameras, lighting rigs, and sound equipment during shoots.
Edit videos into polished final outputs with strong visual storytelling.
Agriculture Q&A; Production
Manage technical setup for multi-camera.
Ensure high sound clarity and proper framing of hosts, farmers, and experts.
Collaborate with content teams to make Q&A; sessions engaging and accessible.

Technical Expertise
Apply advanced editing, sound design, and motion graphics techniques.
Maintain equipment and ensure technical readiness for field and studio shoots.
Innovate with modern video production practices and tools.

Collaboration & Execution
Work with videographers, hosts, and assistants during shoots.
Translate creative briefs into effective video outputs.
Support scripting and storyboarding process
