Role Description This is an on-site contratual full time role for a Qualified Trader based in Gurgaon. They will support daily trading activities, including monitoring markets, placing and tracking orders under supervision, and maintaining trading logs and reports.

Responsibilities include assisting in strategy execution, reviewing performance metrics, conducting basic quantitative and qualitative market analysis, and helping refine entry and exit rules as directed by senior traders. The role involves close collaboration with the investment and risk teams to ensure adherence to fund guidelines and risk controls, as well as continuous learning through observation,



backtesting tasks, and participation in internal discussions on market outlook and trading ideas.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge of financial markets, trading instruments (equities, derivatives, or related assets), and basic portfolio concepts.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret market data, charts, and performance metrics.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, basic statistical functions; familiarity with Python, R, or similar is an advantage).
- Attention to detail, discipline in following processes, and comfort working with rules-based or systematic trading approaches.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting trades, preparing reports, and collaborating with team members.
- Demonstrated curiosity about markets, willingness to learn, and ability to handle fast-paced, time-sensitive tasks responsibly.
- Pursuing or having completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; relevant certifications (e.g., NISM modules, CFA level progress) are a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon during market hours and adhere to professional and ethical standards required in a regulated investment environment.
