Role Description The Production Manager role is a full-time, in office position based in Kanpur Nagar.

The Production

Manager oversees day-to-day manufacturing operations for PU insoles, including planning production schedules, monitoring output, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. This role manages and guides production teams, coordinates with procurement and maintenance to ensure material availability and machine uptime, and implements process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

The Production

Manager tracks production metrics, prepares operational reports, and collaborates with quality, logistics,



and design teams to meet customer requirements and delivery timelines. The role also involves maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Qualifications

- Experience in production management, preferably in footwear, or PU manufacturing.
- Skills in production planning, workflow optimization, and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of quality control practices, industrial safety standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Ability to lead and mentor production teams, resolve operational issues, and manage cross-functional coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using production data and reports for decision-making.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, preventive maintenance concepts, and basic troubleshooting.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Production Management, Industrial Management, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Ability to work on-site in Kanpur Nagar and adapt to a rapid-paced manufacturing environment.
