Role: Production Head – AssemblyKey Responsibilities• Lead and manage end-to-end production and assembly operations for machinery and industrial equipment.

- Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer requirements and delivery timelines.
- Ensure proper resource allocation, material availability, workflow, and production output.
- Coordinate with Machining, Fabrication, Engineering, Purchase, QA/QC, Planning and Dispatch teams for smooth production flow.
- Supervise assembly activities including fit-up, alignment, torqueing, and proper sequence of operations.
- Lead and manage supervisors, technicians, and assembly operators.
- Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S and TPM practices.
- Ensure production activities comply with quality standards, safety requirements, PPE usage, and applicable statutory requirements.




- Monitor production KPIs and provide regular updates to management regarding production status, challenges, resource requirements, and performance.

? Required Skills & Qualifications
- Robust experience in Production Planning and Production Management.
- Proven experience in machinery / industrial equipment assembly.
- Basic knowledge of machining processes – Lathe, Milling and Drilling.
- Basic knowledge of fabrication processes – Welding, Cutting and Fitting.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs and technical documents.
- Strong knowledge of production workflow, resource planning, and output optimization.
- Strong Team Management and Leadership skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and TPM practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in production, machinery, heavy equipment, or industrial manufacturing.
