RC Labs designs and manufactures intelligent Battery Management Systems (BMS) for electric vehicles and stationary energy storage applications. Our modular, adaptive and chemistry-agnostic technology is being developed for applications across EVs, industrial mobility, robotics and energy storage.

We work closely with OEMs, battery pack manufacturers and technology partners to develop and deploy next-generation battery technologies.

Role: Production Engineer – BMS, Electronics & Supply Chain

We are looking for a hands-on Production Engineer to join our team and work on the assembly, testing and production of BMS, IoT and other electronic products.

The role will involve working closely with our engineering, procurement, suppliers and EMS partners, while also supporting material planning, electronic component sourcing and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage assembly, production and testing of BMS, IoT and other electronic products.
- Follow BOMs, assembly drawings, work instructions and production processes.
- Perform inspection, functional and End-of-Line (EOL) testing, and support troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with engineering teams for prototype builds and NPD activities.
- Coordinate with EMS vendors and contract manufacturers for production and assembly.
- Plan material requirements and ensure timely availability of components for production.
- Manage inventory of electronic and BMS components,



including stock tracking and material consumption.
- Support electronic component sourcing and procurement, including supplier coordination and quotations.
- Track production yield, defects and rework, and support process improvements.
- Maintain production, quality, inventory and material documentation.

Requirements

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, ECE or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience in EMS, electronics manufacturing or production.
- Hands-on experience with PCBAs, electronic assembly, soldering, wiring and testing.
- Good understanding of BOMs, electronic components and production processes.
- Basic knowledge of electronic component sourcing, procurement and inventory management.
- Experience coordinating with EMS vendors / contract manufacturers is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic electronic and hardware issues.
- Valuable communication, coordination and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work hands-on in a fast-paced deep-tech hardware environment.
