Role Description The Production Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India, responsible for managing and improving day-to-day production activities to ensure productive, safe, and consistent plant operations.

The role involves monitoring production processes, coordinating manpower and resources, ensuring adherence to production plans, and working closely with process, maintenance, quality, and utility teams to achieve output, quality, and efficiency targets. The Production Engineer will also be responsible for identifying operational bottlenecks, minimizing production losses, improving productivity, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring production parameters, ensuring smooth shift operations, reviewing production performance, troubleshooting operational issues, coordinating with maintenance teams during breakdowns,



maintaining production records, ensuring adherence to SOPs, and supporting initiatives related to yield improvement, process efficiency, cost optimization, waste reduction, and workplace safety.

Qualifications

- Engineering Graduate, preferably in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, Production Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in production, manufacturing, or process plant operations.
- Relevant experience in the maize processing, starch, food processing, or agro-processing industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of production processes, plant operations, process equipment, and manufacturing systems.
- Hands-on experience in production planning, shift operations, process monitoring, troubleshooting, and productivity improvement.
- Ability to monitor and improve production output, yield, efficiency, and resource utilization.
- Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience coordinating with process, maintenance, quality, utilities, warehouse, and other plant functions.
- Ability to supervise production teams and ensure effective deployment of manpower and resources.
- Knowledge of SOPs, process safety, quality standards, GMP, and operational compliance.
- Good planning, documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Strong focus on production efficiency, product quality, safety, cost optimization, and continuous improvement.
