Overview
The Power Platform Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business applications using Microsoft Power Platform components - Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Pages . The role involves designing, developing, implementing, testing, and supporting applications that are built on power platforms and create scalable digital solutions. This role should also have strong understanding of the foundational components of SharePoint.
Responsibilities
Develop automated workflows using Power Automate for business process automation.
Design and build custom applications using Power Apps
Design and build custom agents using Microsoft copilot studio
Implement and manage data structures using Dataverse, SharePoint, or basic SQL
Build modern SPFx (SharePoint Framework) solutions including web parts and extensions
Integrate Power Platform solutions across all the applications (Power BI, ERP System, Microsoft O365, Salesforce etc.)
Develop and maintain custom connectors, APIs, and web services.
Ensure adherence to governance policies,
setting management process
Perform unit testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.
Use GitHub or Azure DevOps pipelines for solution deployment.
Create secure, responsive portals using Power Pages
Create technical documentation, solution diagrams, and user guides.
Provide training to end-users and offer ongoing technical support on need basis
Qualifications
Technical Skills
Hands‑on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Co-pilot studio, AI builder, Build agentic workflows
Hands-on experience on SPFx, JSON, PowerFX, JavaScript, PowerShell scripts, Basic SQL, and REST APIs.
Solid understanding of Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online administration, SharePoint components (sites, lists, libraries etc.)
Understanding of model‑driven architecture, plug‑ins, and business rules.
Familiarity with ALM, solution packaging, and setting strategy.
