Product Manager
Product Strategy & Development • US HQ Company
Purpose of the Role We are building a new healthcare technology company creating a suite of products that automate and optimize the everyday workflows of small and medium-sized clinics worldwide. Our goal is to give lean clinical teams enterprise-grade tools that save time, reduce administrative burden, and let them focus on patient care.
We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to own product strategy and drive development end to end — partnering closely with engineering and stakeholders to build, launch, and continuously strengthen the portfolio. This is a foundational, high-ownership role at an early-stage company: you will shape what we build, for whom, and why.
Reporting Reports to: Founder / CEO / Head of Product
Works with: Engineering, Design, Clinical/subject-matter advisors, Go-to-Market, and company leadership.
Core Responsibilities1. Own product strategy and vision • Define and evolve the product strategy for the suite, tied to real clinic workflows and clear business outcomes.
- Maintain a prioritized roadmap across the portfolio; make hard trade-offs between reach, depth, and speed.
- Ensure the products cohere as one connected suite rather than a set of disconnected tools.
2. Lead discovery and customer insight • Talk to clinics constantly — understand how small and mid-sized practices actually run, where time is lost, and what they’ll pay to fix.
- Validate problems before committing engineering effort; kill or reshape ideas that don’t hold up.
- Translate messy, real-world clinical workflows into clear, buildable product requirements.
3.
Drive development with engineering • Write crisp PRDs and user stories; define scope, acceptance criteria, and success measures.
- Partner day to day with engineering — prioritize the backlog, unblock decisions, and ship iteratively.
- Balance speed of delivery against quality, security, and technical debt.
4. Manage stakeholders and communication • Align leadership, advisors, and cross-functional teams around the roadmap and the reasoning behind it.
- Communicate progress, trade-offs, and changes clearly and proactively.
- Bring the voice of the customer into every major decision.
5. Own launch and outcomes • Partner with go-to-market on positioning, onboarding, and launch of each product.
- Define the metrics that matter — adoption, activation, retention, workflow time saved — and instrument them.
- Close the loop: measure, learn, and feed results back into the roadmap.
6. Build for healthcare, globally • Design with data privacy and security built in (HIPAA and equivalent regional standards).
- Account for how clinic operations, regulation, and integrations differ across markets.
- Keep compliance and trust as first-class product requirements, not afterthoughts.
What Success Looks Like Impact is measured against outcomes for clinics and for the business:
Metric What good looks like
- Roadmap delivery Committed milestones shipped on schedule and to spec
- Adoption & activation Target clinics onboarded and reaching first value quickly
- Retention & engagement Clinics keep using the products; usage grows over time
- Workflow impact Measurable time saved / tasks automated per clinic
- Customer satisfaction Strong NPS and qualitative signal from clinic users
- Discovery cadence Continuous customer interviews feeding the roadmap
- Portfolio coherence Products work together as one suite, not silos
Qualifications
- 5–8 years in product management, ideally B2B SaaS — health-tech, clinical, or workflow software strongly preferred.
- Track record taking products from 0→1 and scaling them, comfortable with early-stage ambiguity and high ownership.
- Robust at discovery, roadmapping, and shipping iteratively with engineering in an agile environment.
- Understanding of clinic or practice workflows, EHR/EMR integrations, and healthcare data compliance (HIPAA) is a strong plus.
- Experience building for multiple markets or global users is a plus.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
Ideal Candidate A product leader who thrives in the ambiguity of building something new. Obsessed with the clinic user’s problems, decisive about priorities, and able to move fast without losing sight of quality, compliance, or the long-term shape of the portfolio. Equal parts strategist and hands-on operator.
CTC: As per industry standards
