ABOUT THE COMPANY
Novus Hi-Tech Robotic SystemzPvt. Ltd. designs and delivers mobility and autonomous robotics solutions across ADAS, Mobile Robotics, and Defence Robotics business units. The ADAS Aftermarket business builds and scales retrofit safety, monitoring, and connected-vehicle solutions for fleet operators and enterprise customers, combining hardware, embedded firmware, AI/ML-based perception, and cloud-connected platforms.
ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to own and drive the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for the ADAS Aftermarket portfolio. The role requires a hands-on product leader who can bridge hardware, firmware, AI-driven software, and cloud connectivity to deliver scalable, reliable retrofit ADAS and fleet-safety solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep IoT/connected-device product experience, a strong understanding of embedded systems and sensor-based platforms, and a track record of driving revenue growth through successful product launches in competitive, safety-critical markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and P&L; contribution for the ADAS Aftermarket portfolio, aligning with business growth and margin objectives.
- Define and prioritize product requirements for retrofit ADAS hardware, embedded firmware, and cloud/telematics platforms, translating market and customer needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Lead cross-functional execution across hardware engineering, embedded firmware, data science/AI, operations, supply chain, and go-to-market teams to deliver on time and to specification.
- Drive AI-driven feature development — including driver-risk detection, alerting, and predictive-maintenance capabilities — to differentiate the ADAS Aftermarket product line.
- Manage vendor and supply chain strategy for sensors, cameras, and connected hardware components, balancing cost optimization with quality and reliability.
- Own new product introduction (NPI)
from concept through commercialization, including verification plans, release procedures, change requests, and bug tracking.
- Partner with fleet operators, channel partners, and OEM/aftermarket customers to gather requirements and validate product-market fit.
- Track competitive landscape, market intelligence, and regulatory trends in ADAS/aftermarket safety to inform roadmap and positioning decisions.
- Define pricing, packaging, and channel strategy in partnership with sales and business leadership to support revenue and margin targets.
- Report portfolio performance, launch readiness, and KPIs to business unit and leadership stakeholders as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 8–15 years of product management experience, with a significant portion in IoT, embedded systems, connected devices, or automotive/ADAS/telematics domains.
- Solid understanding of hardware–software integration, embedded sensors, and connected telemetry platforms.
- Demonstrated experience driving AI/ML-enabled product features such as real-time detection, predictive insights, or intelligent automation.
- Proven ability to own portfolio strategy and deliver measurable revenue growth through successful product launches.
- Experience with cloud IoT services (AWS/GCP/Azure, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) and M2M/IoT architecture.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), verification planning, and release/change management processes.
- Vendor management, supply chain coordination, and cost/margin optimization experience for hardware-based products.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing executive roadmap decisions using market and customer insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business and customer audiences.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field; MBA / M.Tech preferred
- Prior experience in fleet management, safety camera/DMS, connected vehicle, or aftermarket automotive electronics products.
- Experience operating in global or multi-region product organizations
