- Manage end-to-end procurement of building materials, construction materials and related products.
- Identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
- Source materials at competitive prices while maintaining required quality standards.
- Prepare RFQs, compare quotations and negotiate price, payment terms and delivery schedules.
- Develop and maintain solid vendor relationships.
- Coordinate with Sales, Projects, Stores, Finance and Operations to ensure timely material availability.
- Monitor purchase orders, deliveries and vendor performance.
- Identify alternate suppliers and develop cost-saving procurement strategies.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and quality requirements.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases and purchase reports.
- Handle supplier issues related to quality, pricing, shortages and delivery delays.
