The Procurement Associate will support procurement activities related to IT infrastructure, software licenses and subscriptions, skilled services, and other business support services. The role involves vendor management, contract coordination, cost optimization, and ensuring compliance with internal procurement policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of IT hardware, software licenses, SaaS subscriptions, and service contracts.
- Obtain and compare quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and value for money.
- Assist in negotiation of pricing, SLAs, payment terms, and contract conditions.
- Coordinate contract review process with legal and finance teams.
- Raise and track Purchase Orders (POs).
- Monitor renewal dates for software licenses, AMCs, and service agreements.
- Ensure timely vendor onboarding and documentation compliance (KYC, agreements, NDAs).
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable for invoice validation and payment processing.
- Maintain procurement records and vendor performance data.
- Exposure to IT asset management and license tracking.
- Strong negotiation and cost optimization skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and Operations teams.
- An analytical mindset with strong documentation skills.
You Should Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration.
- 2-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in IT or service industry.
- Experience handling IT vendors, SaaS subscriptions, and service contracts.
- Good understanding of contract terms and SLAs.
