Primary Job Purpose

- Design high-quality, visually compelling presentations and business documents that support BSC's sales and business development objectives.
- The role will primarily involve creating PowerPoint presentations for client pitches, techno-commercial proposals, CXO meetings and other sales requirements. The designer will work with proposal developers, sales teams, technical experts and senior leadership to turn complex, content-heavy information into clear, engaging and professional visual communication.
- The role will also support selected non-sales requirements such as client reports, workshops, conferences, Board presentations and internal communications.

Responsibilities:

Presentation Design & Sales Support:

- Design high-quality PowerPoint presentations for sales pitches, proposals, client meetings and senior management presentations.
- Transform raw or minimally formatted content into polished, branded presentations using appropriate slide layouts, visual storytelling and design treatments, even where no specific design brief is provided.
- Create engaging slide layouts that make content-heavy presentations easier to understand, visually balanced and less cluttered.
- Identify opportunities to visualise complex information using diagrams, frameworks, infographics, icons, tables and other appropriate design elements.
- Understand the objective, audience and context of each presentation and recommend suitable visual approaches.
- Work with proposal developers, salespeople and technical experts to translate written content into compelling presentations.
- Deliver high-quality outputs within tight and, at times, urgent turnaround timelines.

Document & Business Communication Design:

- Design and format professional Word documents including concept notes, approach notes,



solution documents, proposals and client reports.
- Read and understand written content and identify opportunities to improve its visual presentation through layouts, diagrams, callouts and other design treatments.
- Support design requirements for delivery workshops, conferences, Board presentations, internal meetings and selected HR communications.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

- Work effectively with proposal writers, sales teams, technical experts and senior stakeholders, including functional heads and leadership.
- Manage feedback from multiple stakeholders and incorporate changes while maintaining quality and timelines.
- Communicate design timelines and proactively flag requirements for stakeholder inputs or decisions.
- Build a working understanding of BSC’s products and services to improve the relevance and speed of design support.

Design Efficiency & Continuous Improvement:

- Develop and maintain reusable slide layouts, templates and design assets to improve speed, consistency and quality.
- Proactively identify recurring design requirements and recommend suitable templates or design solutions.
- Explore new design approaches, tools and formats that improve the quality and impact of BSC’s sales and business communications.
- Maintain organised design files and assets for efficient reuse.

Person Specification Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with excellent understanding of slide layouts, typography,



visual hierarchy, alignment, spacing and composition.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and ability to format professional, content-heavy documents.
- Solid visual communication and information design skills.
- Ability to simplify and visually represent complex or text-heavy information.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Maintain a self-quality control checklist and ensure all deliverables are thoroughly reviewed for formatting, alignment, consistency, branding and content errors before submission.
- Strong collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good organisation, prioritisation and time management skills

Experience:

- 2–5 years of experience in presentation design, graphic design, visual communication or a related role.
- Experience developing sales, marketing, business or client-facing PowerPoint presentations.
- Experience working with content-heavy presentations and creating layouts that improve readability and visual impact.
- Experience designing or formatting professional Word documents, reports or proposals would be an advantage.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
