Role Description The Plant Head is a full time, on-site leadership role based in Vadodara, responsible for overall plant operations and performance. This role oversees daily production activities, ensures adherence to safety and quality standards, and coordinates production planning to meet delivery schedules and cost targets.

The Plant

Head manages cross-functional teams, monitors production metrics, and implements process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

Responsibilities include supervising quality control practices, managing budgets and resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.



The role also involves collaborating with senior management on strategic initiatives, supporting workforce development, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in plant operations and production management, with demonstrated ability to oversee end-to-end manufacturing activities.
- Proficiency in production planning and scheduling to optimize capacity, resources, and on-time delivery.
- Solid understanding of quality control practices, standards, and systems to ensure consistent product quality and compliance.
- Experience with budgeting, cost control, and resource management to achieve financial and operational targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Proven experience in a senior plant or operations leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong people management, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to lead and develop diverse teams.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to analyze operational data, make informed decisions, and implement corrective actions promptly.
