Role Description The Phlebotomist at SKINOS is responsible for safely and accurately collecting blood samples from patients to support dermatological diagnostics and treatments. Day-to-day tasks include preparing equipment, verifying patient identity, explaining procedures, performing venipuncture and other blood collection techniques, labeling and handling specimens, and ensuring proper storage and transfer to the laboratory. The role also involves maintaining clean and organized work areas, following infection control and safety protocols, and documenting procedures in alignment with clinic policies.

This is a full-time, in office role based at the SKINOS clinic in Delhi, India,



working closely with dermatologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to provide a supportive and respectful patient experience.

Qualifications

- Strong blood collection skills, including venipuncture and safe specimen handling.
- Laboratory skills for basic processing, labeling, and routing of samples.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and foundational understanding of medicine relevant to dermatology and general clinical practice.
- Medical assisting abilities, including patient preparation, vital signs measurement, and support for clinical procedures.
- Completion of a recognized phlebotomy or laboratory technician program; relevant certification or registration is preferred.
- Experience in a clinical or hospital setting, ideally with exposure to dermatology or outpatient care.
- Attention to detail, adherence to infection control standards, and strong documentation skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, manage multiple tasks, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
