Overview:

The Production Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring that production runs efficiently. They are responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the production activities.

The Production

Manager needs to ensure that the production process is cost-effective and meets quality specifications. Additionally, they collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and drive continuous improvement in production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement production schedules and workflows
Supervise and motivate a team of production workers
Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Optimize production output while controlling costs
Collaborate with quality control and maintenance teams
Implement and oversee lean manufacturing principles
Identify and resolve production issues and bottlenecks
Implement and monitor KPIs and production metrics
Coordinate with procurement and inventory management
Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation
Lead continuous improvement initiatives in production processes




Assist in the training and development of production staff
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
Manage production budget and resources

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, operations management, or relevant field.
Valuable Knowledge and working experience with ASTM Codes & Practices.
Should Have working experience with Fabrication Reactors & Pressure Vessels.
Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role
Solid knowledge of production management principles and techniques
Experience in implementing lean manufacturing practices
Familiarity with quality control systems and methodologies
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
Proficiency in ERP and production planning software
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Proven track record of driving process improvements
Certification in production and inventory management is a plus
