The Structural Design Manager – Facade / (Product Performance Manager) is responsible for ensuring that each façade and window design structurally meets the performance requirements of the project. The role ensures all product designs comply with relevant codes and industry standards for safety and reliability, while optimizing material usage and cost.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic
Own complete responsibility for structural performance and integrity of façade systems.
Plan work schedules and estimate timelines for project deliverables.
Ensure all design solutions meet project performance parameters.

Financial
Provide inputs for optimized structural design aligned with project and cost requirements.
Develop effective structural solutions compliant with applicable codes and technical specifications.
Contribute to design optimization to balance safety, performance, and cost efficiency.

Customer / External Orientation
Understand and translate client and project requirements into accurate structural solutions.
Deliver structural evaluation reports and design submissions within agreed timelines.
Ensure effective communication and information flow between design, project, and client teams.

People Orientation




Coordinate and collaborate with internal design and project engineering teams.
Mentor, train, and upskill team members on façade structural design practices and tools.
Align individual and team performance goals with organizational objectives.

Core Operational Accountabilities
Ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery of structural design outputs.
Maintain high evaluation and drawing quality standards.
Perform design validation, load calculations, and code compliance checks (IS/BS/ASTM/EN standards).
Review shop drawings and system details for structural adequacy and accuracy.

Desired Candidate Profile
Robust technical expertise in façade and window system structural design.
Proficiency in design software such as STAAD, ANSYS, or equivalent.
Sound understanding of aluminum/glass façade systems, curtain wall design, wind load, and dead load calculations.
Experience in design optimization for both conventional and unitized façades.
Solid analytical, communication, and team leadership skills.

Salary: ₹15–20 LPA (Negotiable for the right candidate)
