Role Overview

We're seeking an Internal Recruitment & Employee Engagement Specialist to join our HR team.

This dual-focus role requires someone who has worked internally within a software/technology company as a recruiter and has hands-on experience driving employee engagement initiatives.

You'll be responsible for end-to-end recruitment of technical and sales talent while simultaneously building and managing programs that enhance employee wellbeing, cultural engagement, and overall workplace experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment (50%)

- Source, screen, and hire software developers, technical engineers, and sales executives through proactive talent Hunting and direct sourcing
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for internal positions across engineering, technical, and commercial teams
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical technical roles
- Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and role requirements
- Conduct interviews, coordinate technical assessments, and manage offer negotiations
- Track recruitment metrics and optimise hiring processes

Employee Engagement (50%)

- Design and execute employee engagement programs, activities, and cultural initiatives
- Manage employee wellbeing programs and work-life balance initiatives
- Plan and coordinate team-building events, celebrations, and recognition programs
- Drive internal communications that reinforce company culture and values




- Gather employee feedback through surveys and focus groups; implement action plans
- Support onboarding experiences for current hires to ensure smooth integration
- Monitor engagement metrics and recommend improvements to employee experience

Must-Have Requirements

- 2–4 years of experience working internally as a recruiter in a software/technology company (agency recruitment experience alone does not qualify)
- Proven track record of Talent hunting and hiring software developers, technical engineers, and sales executives
- Hands-on experience managing employee engagement activities, cultural programs, and employee wellbeing initiatives
- Experience working in a fast-paced tech environment with distributed or remote teams
- Strong understanding of technical roles and ability to assess engineering talent
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with recruitment tools, ATS platforms, and engagement survey tools
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in telecommunications, SaaS, or CPaaS industry
- Knowledge of employer branding and social recruiting strategies
- Certification in HR, recruitment, or employee engagement
- Experience with data-driven recruitment and engagement analytics
