: Project Head – Transmission Project

Role Purpose The Project Head shall be overall accountable for the end-to-end execution of the Transmission Project, ensuring successful delivery in line with contractual, technical, statutory, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and overall direction for planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of the transmission project.
Ensure adherence to approved project timelines, budgets, quality standards, safety norms, and statutory/regulatory requirements.
Act as the primary interface with clients, utilities, regulatory authorities, consultants, and senior stakeholders.
Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities for transmission lines and/or substations.
Ensure effective coordination among internal teams, contractors, and vendors to achieve project milestones.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; ensure timely resolution of technical, commercial, and contractual issues.




Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and statutory approvals.
Drive performance management, reporting, and governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualification & Experience Requirements
Designation Level: GM / Sr. GM / AVP
Education: BE / ME
Stream: Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
Total Experience: Minimum 20 years
Specialization: Transmission & Distribution (T&D;) / Substations
Relevant Experience: Minimum 15 years in execution of transmission and/or substation projects, preferably in EPC settings

Competencies
Proven leadership in large-scale transmission or substation projects
Solid stakeholder management and decision-making capability
Sound knowledge of statutory, regulatory, and utility requirements
Excellent coordination, risk management, and execution skills
