- Create and maintain schematics and PCB layouts using KiCad, Altium Designer, or equivalent PCB design tools.
- Select suitable MCUs, sensors, MOSFETs, relays, regulators, connectors, and protection components.
- Design and review power supplies, DC-DC converters, switching circuits, sensing circuits, and interface circuits.
- Develop PCB designs for energy monitoring, current sensing, and voltage measurement applications.
- Perform PCB bring-up, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and validation using bench equipment.
- Review PCB layouts for signal integrity, power integrity, grounding, routing, thermal performance, and manufacturability.
- Apply EMI/EMC, ESD protection, creepage/clearance, and electrical safety considerations during PCB design.
- Maintain BOMs, PCB revisions, component libraries, Gerber files, manufacturing files, and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors for DFM, prototyping, assembly, and production handover.
- Work closely with firmware and mechanical engineers during product development and hardware validation.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in schematic capture and PCB layout design.
- Experience with KiCad, Altium Designer EasyEDA, or similar PCB design tools.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics.
- Good understanding of PCB stack-up, grounding, routing, power distribution, and component placement.
- Experience designing circuits using MCUs, MOSFETs, relays, regulators, sensors, connectors, and protection components.
- Understanding of power supplies, DC-DC converters, switching circuits, and protection circuits.
- Practical experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, bench power supplies, and other hardware debugging equipment.
