Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Patient Care Coordinator role based in Kolhapur.

The Patient Care

Coordinator will be responsible for welcoming patients, managing check-in and check-out processes, and ensuring a comfortable, respectful clinic experience. Daily activities include scheduling and confirming appointments, handling inbound and outbound calls, maintaining accurate patient records, and coordinating communication between patients, doctors, and other clinic staff. The role also involves explaining clinic procedures in clear, non-judgmental language, supporting patients with follow-up instructions, and helping manage clinic workflows to reduce wait times.





The coordinator will work closely with the clinical team to support continuity of care and maintain strict patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Appointment Scheduling skills, including managing calendars, confirming visits, and handling changes efficiently.
- Candidates should possess excellent Phone Etiquette skills to handle patient calls professionally, empathetically, and with clear communication.
- Candidates should possess Care Coordination skills to support smooth collaboration between patients, clinicians, and support staff.
- Candidates should possess basic Medical Terminology knowledge to understand clinical notes and communicate instructions accurately.
- Candidates should possess Patient Care skills, with a focus on empathy, confidentiality, and non-judgmental support in sensitive health matters.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English and local languages as applicable.
- Prior experience in a healthcare, clinic, or customer service setting is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolhapur, manage multiple tasks, and use clinic software or electronic health record systems.
- Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree or equivalent; healthcare or administration-related training is an advantage.
