Responsibilities
Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including Ultrasound (USG), Computed Tomography (CT), X-ray, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
Provide accurate, timely, and comprehensive radiological reports for clinical decision-making.
Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal imaging protocols and patient management.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and tumor boards to support treatment planning.
Stay current with advancements in radiological techniques, protocols, and emerging technologies.
Ensure adherence to regulatory, ethical, and institutional guidelines for patient privacy and imaging safety.
Contribute to quality assurance programs and continuous improvement initiatives within the radiology department.
Mentor and support junior radiology staff,



residents, and medical students when applicable.

Requirements
MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Radiology (D.M. or DNB in Radiology).
Minimum of 1 year of post-graduation clinical experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting.
Proficiency in interpreting USG, CT, X-ray, and MRI scans across multiple body systems (neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominal, thoracic, etc.).
Solid understanding of radiation safety, dose optimization, and imaging protocol design.
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex findings clearly.
Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or equivalent regulatory body.
Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and RIS (Radiology Information Systems).
Willingness to work in a rapid-paced clinical workplace with rotating shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
