:

Responsibilities

1. Provide end-to-end leadership and accountability for quality across all Oracle R12 initiatives, enhancements, production changes, support activities, and break-fix efforts, ensuring quality is built into the delivery lifecycle from idea through deployment and support.
2. Lead the shift-left quality strategy for the Oracle ERP ecosystem by improving upstream delivery practices such as requirements definition, process design, acceptance criteria, configuration readiness, data quality, and CEMLI design review.
3. Partner with the Testing Center of Excellence and ERP delivery teams to evolve the operating model from traditional QA toward a broader quality engineering and delivery excellence framework.
4. Drive quality across all delivery dimensions, including functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, data validation, configuration accuracy, release readiness, and post-deployment feedback.
5. Establish and strengthen processes that improve the quality and speed of CEMLI development and deployment, while also increasing confidence in ERP configurations and business process changes.
6. Champion data quality as a critical component of ERP quality by partnering with business and technical teams to improve test data, master data readiness, migration quality, and data-related defect prevention.
7. Drive an automation-first and AI-enabled strategy by promoting scalable tools, intelligent test design, automated regression coverage, predictive insights, and process simplification to improve application stability, increase productivity, and reduce cycle time.
8. Apply Agile and Lean principles to improve delivery flow, reduce rework, identify bottlenecks, and build sustainable quality practices across product, project, and support models.
9. Implement and mature gemba-based quality management and feedback loops that connect delivery teams, support teams,



and business users to real operational outcomes and continuous learning.
10. Define and govern quality metrics that provide visibility into defect trends, release health, flow efficiency, upstream quality, data quality, automation effectiveness, and business impact.
11. Review and approve quality-related service deliverables for Oracle R12, ensuring consistency, completeness, and alignment with business and IT expectations.
12. Align priorities across competing demand channels and negotiate solutions to resource, schedule, quality, and service delivery conflicts.
13. Manage service escalations involving internal teams and third-party providers, driving timely resolution while identifying root causes and systemic improvements.
14. Own and lead Oracle R12 disaster recovery testing, including annual planning, execution, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of resilience and recovery practices.
15. Plan and manage quality service sustainability needs for Oracle R12, including forecasting, budgeting, capability development, tooling, and ongoing service readiness.
16. Establish and apply appropriate management controls to ensure adherence to standards, policies, audit requirements, and compliance expectations.
17. Provide leadership with quality risk visibility, release readiness insights, and actionable recommendations that support informed decision-making for production deployments and business-critical changes.

Foster a culture where quality is a shared responsibility across product, engineering, ERP, operations, and business teams, rather than a function owned only by testing.

Qualifications

- Bachelor of Engineering, Science, Information Systems, or related field required.
- 10–15 years of experience leading quality, delivery, or enterprise application practices across a broad portfolio of solutions.
- Strong experience in ERP quality engineering, QA leadership, or delivery assurance within complex Oracle ERP environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading beyond traditional testing, including process quality, data quality, release quality, and upstream defect prevention.
- Experience with Oracle ERP delivery models, including CEMLI development, configurations, integrations, and end-to-end business process validation.
- Solid Agile and Lean background with experience driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and flow-based delivery outcomes.
- Experience building and improving feedback loops, quality metrics, and gemba-oriented continuous improvement practices.
- Experience with test automation, intelligent quality tools, and AI-enabled delivery or quality improvement approaches.
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to lead cross-functional teams on multiple initiatives simultaneously amid changing priorities.
- Diligent attention to detail, process discipline, and a strong continuous improvement mindset.

Location: Bangalore
