SAP Vertex Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP Vertex Consultant with expertise in international tax and SAP & Vertex implementation. As a senior or lead-level consultant, you will work independently with our Systems Integrator (SI), internal IT teams, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have hands-on system experience and a robust background in international indirect tax, including US sales & use tax, VAT for EU & international country taxes.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of SAP & Vertex Tax technology, including seamless integrations.
Analyze and understand international indirect tax requirements, including US sales & use tax, VAT for EU & international country taxes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SI, internal IT, and business stakeholders.
Provide subject matter expertise in international tax laws and regulations.
Configure and customize SAP & Vertex solutions to meet specific tax requirements.
Perform testing and quality assurance of the implemented tax technology.




Participate in workshops and provide training to end-users on the SAP & Vertex tax solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the SAP & Vertex tax technology implementation.

Required Skills and Experience
Proven experience as an International Indirect Tax Consultant, handling US sales & use tax, VAT for EU & international country taxes.
Hands-on experience in SAP & Vertex Tax technology implementation, including integrations.
In-depth knowledge of international tax laws and regulations.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and lead tax technology projects.
Experience in configuring and customizing SAP & Vertex solutions to meet tax requirements.
Familiarity with SAP modules and tax determination processes.
Robust attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
