Role Description The Operations Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhiwandi, responsible for overseeing day-to-day logistics operations and ensuring smooth freight movement. This role includes supervising dispatch activities, monitoring PTL and FTL shipments, coordinating with fleet owners, brokers, and drivers, and resolving operational issues promptly.

The Operations

Supervisor will manage scheduling, route planning, and documentation compliance, while tracking performance metrics such as turnaround time, utilization, and delivery accuracy.



The position also involves maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams, supporting cost optimization, and implementing process improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills and experience leading operational teams.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of operations and operations management within transportation or logistics.
- Candidates should possess solid analytical skills for route planning, performance tracking, and problem-solving.
- Candidates should possess clear and effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Prior experience in logistics, transport operations, or supply chain management is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with freight movement (PTL/FTL), dispatch processes, and basic documentation/compliance requirements is an advantage.
- Ability to work in office in Bhiwandi, manage time effectively, and handle operational pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
