Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior R&D; Chemist to lead and strengthen our in-house R&D; function. The ideal candidate will possess strong fundamentals in organic chemistry, proven hands-on experience in process development, and the ability to drive innovation, quality improvement, and recent product development within a manufacturing workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Lead R&D; activities for dyes, dye intermediates, Pigments and speciality chemicals.
Develop, optimise, and scale organic synthesis routes for new products.
Conduct literature surveys, design experiments, interpret analytical data, and maintain detailed documentation.
Collaborate with Production, QC, and Management to support plant trials and technology transfer.
Ensure strict confidentiality of proprietary chemistry, processes,



and formulations.
Maintain proper records and summaries for each project and provide timely updates to management.

Required Qualifications
PhD in Organic Chemistry (preferred), or M.Sc. with exceptional hands-on expertise.
2–3 years of experience in R&D; or process development.
Experience in pharmaceutical R&D; or intermediates is highly preferred.
Solid understanding of synthetic organic chemistry, reaction mechanisms, and analytical interpretation.
Good knowledge of lab-scale to pilot-scale process development.
Basic knowledge of analytical testing and equipment.
