Role Description The On-Site Technical Manager is a full-time role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for overseeing technical operations and support during events that use the Facepass platform. This role includes managing on-site technical setup, monitoring facial recognition and access control systems, and ensuring smooth integration with ticketing and CRM solutions. The On-Site Technical Manager will coordinate with event organizers, internal teams, and vendors to troubleshoot issues, optimize system performance, and maintain high reliability and security standards.

Day-to-day activities include supervising technical staff, managing project timelines for event deployments, conducting technical assessments,



and contributing feedback to product and R&D; teams for continuous improvement. The role requires hands-on presence at event locations, proactive problem-solving, and clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret event data, monitor system performance, and make data-informed decisions.
- Candidates should possess Team Management skills to lead in office technical staff, coordinate responsibilities, and maintain effective communication across teams.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support skills to handle hardware and software issues, provide real-time troubleshooting, and ensure system uptime during events.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) skills to identify improvement opportunities, test new features on-site, and provide structured feedback to product teams.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan event deployments, manage resources, track deadlines, and deliver technically sound event execution.
- Relevant experience with event technology, access control systems, or IT infrastructure management is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to work under time-sensitive conditions at live events.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
