Role Description

This is a full-time, in office role for an In-House Odoo Developer at Technofirm Solutions LLP, located in Ahmedabad.

The Odoo

Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Odoo modules and features to meet business requirements. The role includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, performing customizations, troubleshooting, bug fixes, and delivering high-quality solutions. The developer will also contribute to identifying innovative approaches to improve system functionality and streamline operations.

Core Odoo Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Odoo (v16 or later)
- Expertise in Python and Odoo ORM
- Custom module development and modification




- Experience with Odoo Community & Enterprise

Backend & Database

- PostgreSQL (queries, performance tuning, backups)
- REST API integration and third-party API integration
- XML & JSON handling

Frontend

- QWeb templates
- JavaScript (Odoo JS framework)
- HTML5, CSS3

On-Premise Deployment

- Odoo installation on Linux servers (Ubuntu preferred)
- Experience with Nginx / Apache, Gunicorn
- Database setup, backups, and restore
- Performance tuning & troubleshooting
- SSL configuration and security hardening

DevOps / Infrastructure (Preferred)

- Docker & Docker Compose (good to have)
- Git / GitHub / GitLab
- CI/CD understanding
- Server monitoring & log analysis

Functional Knowledge (Good to Have)

- Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, HR, Manufacturing modules
- Custom workflow and report development

Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently on on-premises projects
- Good communication and documentation skills
