Basic Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in computer science or related discipline with 7+ years of relevant industry experience
Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications/ systems using proven or emerging technologies, in a variety of technologies and environments.
Experience with automation tools.
Skills & Attributes:
Solid code/scripting skills
Linux, Unix, MacOS and Windows operating systems (experience with CoreOS a plus).
Experience working with complex network topologies
Experience working with virtualization software such as VMWare and Openstack
Configuration Management tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, SaltStack
Test and build systems such as TeamCity, Jenkins, Maven, Ant
Monitoring/Alerting tools such as New Relic, Nagios, Icinga and Graphite
Positive technical writing and communication and collaborating skills
Desired Skills:
Experience working in a cloud/Iaas setting – AWS, Rackspace, Azure
Containerization tools such as Vagrant, Docker or LXC
Orchestration tools such as zookeeper, noah and mesos
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or Masters in computer science or related discipline.
