Cloud Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an accomplished Cloud Engineer with extensive experience in Azure Cloud to develop and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Microsoft Cloud Platform features and capabilities, having successfully executed multiple implementations in previous roles.

Responsibilities

- Prepare architecture diagrams detailing components, connectivity, and network rules based on application requirements.
- Update and maintain Low-Level Design documents to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Deploy infrastructure resources using Terraform to automate and streamline processes.
- Work on new initiatives for DPS-Enterprise Workstream Products, contributing to cutting-edge solutions.
- Ensure infrastructure stability, scalability, security, and compliance with Pru GISP standards.
- Collaborate with development teams and relevant stakeholders for planning, validation, and review of infrastructure setups.
- Update and maintain infrastructure inventory/assets for effective resource management.
- Review and evaluate infrastructure costs to optimize budget and resource allocation.
- Investigate the viability of new technologies to enhance and optimize our infrastructure.




- Implement infrastructure with High Availability and Disaster Recovery setups to ensure business continuity.
- Document implementation steps/processes and create ?How to? articles for knowledge sharing.

Mandatory Skills

- Expertise in Azure deployment and implementation of components such as Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Key Vault, SQL Server, Azure Active Directory, Self-Hosted Integration Runtime, Windows and Linux VMs.
- Knowledge of Power BI Desktop/Workspace and Power Automate.
- Proficient in Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins for CI/CD processes.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and PowerShell.
- Understanding of networking concepts including IP segments and DNS.
- Proficient with Azure CLI, Terraform, and Bash scripting.
- Familiarity with security, audit logging, and firewall rules.
- Understanding of hybrid connectivity options such as Cloud VPN and Interconnect.
- Knowledge of security certificates and encryption methods.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow for project management and documentation.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (BE/BTech).
- Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or AZ-204 equivalent, Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure AI Fundamentals certifications are preferred.

Deal Breaker Skill: Strong Azure Cloud knowledge is mandatory.
