Roles and responsibilities

Professionals with Degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience in the industry sectors of Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Petrochemical and having positive knowledge in the following activities:
Instruments Specification Sheets (Data Sheets) – All types of Instruments and Automated Valves.
Calculation & Selection of Control Valves, Safety Devices and Flow Elements.
Selection of Flow Instruments.
Instruments Index and I/O lists.
Hands on experience in SPI (Smart Plant Instrumentation)
Cause & Effect Diagrams.
Control Narrative and Safety Descriptions.
P&ID; review.
Logic Diagrams.
Instruments Level Sketches.
Requisition for Inquiry and Purchase of Instruments and Materials.
Technical Bid Evaluation of Offers for Instruments and Materials & TBT preparation.
Vendor Documents Review of Instruments and Materials.




Participation in HAZOP / SIL studies
Review recommendations per HAZOP & SIL Study and update of documents.
Instruments Installation, Hookup drawings, Layouts, MTO preparation etc.
Fair knowledge of International Codes & Standards like ISA, IEC, ASME, ANSI, API, ASTM, ISO,

OISD etc.
Intrinsic Safety Parameters calculation/checking and FF segment calculation/Validation.
Familiar with Analyzers (an added advantage).
Experience in FEED study projects (added advantage).
Work experience in EPC workplace (preferred).
Work experience as Lead Engineer.
Package review/cordination.
Positive oral and verbal command in English language.

Software Skills
SPI-INTools (Index / Calculation / Specification / Process Data/ Modules, Document Binder,

Browser)
AUTOCAD (not mandatory; an added advantage if familiar).
NAVISWORKS.
MicroSoft Office
