Role Description The Microsoft Practice Head is responsible for leading Sigma Solve’s Microsoft-focused services and solutions, including cloud, data, AI, and enterprise applications. This full-time, on-site role, based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area, involves defining the Microsoft practice strategy, shaping solution offerings, and overseeing end-to-end delivery for key client engagements. The individual will collaborate with sales and account teams to drive business development, respond to RFPs, build proposals, and support pre-sales activities.

Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring and guiding technical teams, establishing best practices and delivery standards, and ensuring projects meet quality, performance, and security expectations.



The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with Microsoft and other partners, monitoring emerging technologies, and refining the practice roadmap to align with market needs and client outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and related enterprise application stacks.
- Demonstrated experience in cloud migration, application modernization, integrations, and enterprise solution architecture.
- Proven leadership in building and managing high-performing technical teams, including mentoring, resource planning, and performance management.
- Experience in practice management or competency leadership, including portfolio planning, offering development, and delivery governance.
- Background in data, analytics, and AI initiatives using Microsoft tools and services, with a focus on secure and governed implementations.
- Strong client-facing skills, including stakeholder management, requirements discovery, solution presentation, and negotiation.
- Ability to collaborate with sales and marketing teams on pre-sales, proposals, estimates, and go-to-market activities.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Power Platform, or similar) are highly beneficial.
