Key responsibilities
Lead and motivate store staff to provide exceptional customer service
Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of employees
Manage inventory levels and implement effective merchandising strategies
Develop and implement sales goals and strategies to maximize profitability
Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
Monitor and analyze sales performance and develop action plans to improve results
Manage the store budget and control expenses
Resolve customer complaints and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Conduct regular store meetings to communicate goals, product knowledge, and new initiatives
Implement safety and security protocols to protect employees and customers
Collaborate with the regional or district manager to implement company initiatives




Stay updated on industry trends and market competition
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the store
Prepare and analyze reports on sales, employee performance, and inventory levels

Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field
Proven experience as a retail manager or in a similar role
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team
Excellent understanding of sales and customer service techniques
Strong understanding of inventory management and control
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale (POS) systems
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze and interpret sales metrics
Knowledge of budgeting and financial principles
Ability to work versatile schedule and weekends
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Understanding of retail laws, security protocols, and health and safety standards
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a rapid-paced environment
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Certification in retail management is a plus
