Role Description The MEP Quantity Surveying Coordinator will oversee cost-related activities for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works across assigned construction projects. This is a full-time, in office role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing BOQs for MEP packages, verifying measurements, assisting in tendering and bid evaluations, and coordinating with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost tracking.

The role involves monitoring budgets, supporting cost planning and reporting, validating contractor claims,



and contributing to value engineering efforts while maintaining compliance with project specifications and standards. The coordinator will also support documentation, maintain updated cost records, and provide timely reports to project leadership.

Qualifications

- Strong cost management capabilities, including Cost Control and Cost Management skills.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying documentation, particularly BOQ preparation and review.
- Experience in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting for construction projects.
- Knowledge of MEP systems and materials used in building and infrastructure projects.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with MS Excel and relevant QS/estimation software tools.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and coordination skills for working with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Prior experience in MEP quantity surveying or coordination in the construction industry is preferred.
