About the RoleAldecor Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced MEP Engineer with 5–6 years of relevant experience in office interiors / commercial interior projects to manage MEP coordination and execution across projects.

The role will be responsible for ensuring that MEP services are properly planned, coordinated, and executed in alignment with architectural, interior and project requirements. The candidate should have robust site coordination experience and the ability to identify and resolve MEP-related challenges proactively.

Key Responsibilities1. MEP Planning & Design Coordination

- Review and coordinate MEP requirements for office interior projects.
- Coordinate electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, ELV and other building services with architectural and interior layouts.
- Review MEP drawings, layouts, schematics and technical submissions.
- Identify clashes between MEP services, ceilings, partitions, furniture and other interior elements.
- Ensure MEP layouts are practical and execution-ready.

2. Electrical Services Coordination

- Coordinate electrical layouts including power, lighting, emergency lighting and related systems.
- Review load requirements, DB locations, cable routing and electrical provisions.
- Coordinate lighting layouts with ceiling and interior design.
- Ensure electrical works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications.

3. HVAC Coordination

- Coordinate HVAC layouts, ducting, piping, equipment locations and air-conditioning requirements.
- Coordinate HVAC services with ceiling layouts, lighting, partitions and furniture.
- Identify service clashes and resolve routing constraints at site.




- Coordinate with HVAC vendors and consultants during execution.

4. Plumbing & Fire-Fighting Coordination

- Review and coordinate plumbing and fire-fighting layouts.
- Ensure proper coordination of piping routes, shafts, equipment and service points.
- Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve site-level technical issues.
- Ensure execution complies with approved drawings and applicable standards.

5. ELV & Other Services

- Coordinate ELV requirements such as data, CCTV, access control, fire alarm and other low-voltage systems.
- Ensure service provisions are incorporated into architectural and interior layouts.
- Coordinate requirements with respective vendors and consultants.

6. Site Execution & Technical Supervision

- Conduct regular site visits to monitor MEP execution.
- Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
- Inspect ongoing MEP installations and identify quality or coordination issues.
- Resolve technical issues arising during execution.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, vendors and subcontractors to maintain execution timelines.

7. Drawing & Documentation Management

- Review MEP working drawings and GFC drawings before execution.
- Coordinate drawing revisions and ensure the latest approved drawings are available at site.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals and technical specifications.
- Maintain MEP documentation, approvals, inspection records and as-built information.

8. MEP Vendor & Consultant Coordination

- Coordinate with MEP consultants, contractors and specialist vendors.
- Monitor vendor progress, workmanship, material availability and technical compliance.
- Follow up on pending drawings, approvals, materials and technical clarifications.
- Participate in coordination meetings and ensure action points are closed within timelines.

9. Quality Control & Testing

- Ensure MEP installations meet approved specifications and required quality standards.
- Conduct inspections at various stages of execution.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning of MEP systems.




- Identify defects and ensure timely rectification.
- Review snag lists and drive closure before project handover.

10. Project Coordination & Timeline Control

- Coordinate MEP activities with overall project schedules and execution priorities.
- Identify potential MEP-related delays and escalate them proactively.
- Ensure MEP materials and services are ready as per planned work fronts.
- Coordinate sequencing of MEP works with civil, interiors, ceiling, flooring and furniture activities.

11. Safety & Compliance

- Ensure MEP execution follows applicable safety standards and statutory requirements.
- Monitor safe working practices for electrical, HVAC, plumbing and other MEP activities.
- Coordinate with the Safety Team to address unsafe conditions and corrective actions.
- Ensure necessary testing, certifications and compliance documentation are maintained.

12. Handover & As-Built Documentation

- Coordinate preparation and submission of MEP as-built drawings.
- Ensure testing and commissioning records are completed.
- Verify that all MEP-related snags are closed before handover.
- Support preparation of complete MEP handover documentation.

Daily Responsibilities
- Review MEP execution progress at project sites.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, vendors and consultants.
- Review drawings and resolve technical queries.
- Monitor MEP quality and execution against approved drawings.
- Track material requirements and MEP work fronts.
- Identify clashes, delays and site constraints and initiate corrective action.
- Update the Project Manager on MEP progress, risks and pending requirements.

Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / MEP Engineering or relevant qualification.
- 5–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in office interiors / commercial interior design & build projects.
- Strong experience in MEP site execution and coordination.
- Good understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting and ELV services.
- Ability to read and coordinate MEP and architectural drawings.
- Strong knowledge of site execution, coordination and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of relevant MEP coordination tools will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
