Role DescriptionThe Mechanical Engineer will work full-time in office at the Taloja facility, supporting the design, optimization, maintenance, and improvement of steel and metal processing machinery and related equipment.

The role will involve applying mechanical engineering principles to real-world manufacturing and plant operations. Key responsibilities will include performing mechanical design calculations,



and collaborating with production and maintenance teams to ensure that machinery operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.

The Mechanical Engineer will also be involved in planning and implementing engineering projects from concept through commissioning, troubleshooting mechanical issues, identifying opportunities for equipment and process improvements, and coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.

The role will further involve maintaining appropriate engineering and maintenance documentation in accordance with ISO quality standards, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply core engineering principles to metal processing machinery and industrial equipment.
- Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and track engineering activities, ensuring timely and quality execution.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Knowledge of machine design, mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with CAD software and mechanical design is preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and industrial safety practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a practical approach to engineering challenges.
- Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with production, maintenance, quality, vendors, and management teams.
- Prior experience in steel processing, metal processing, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments will be an advantage.
- Fresh graduates with a strong academic foundation and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
