Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented SolidWorks Designer to create 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks. The ideal candidate should have experience in mechanical design, product development, and preparing fabrication drawings while collaborating with engineering and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop accurate 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.

Create and modify mechanical components based on project requirements.

Prepare fabrication and production drawings with appropriate dimensions and tolerances.

Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing.

Perform design modifications based on engineering feedback and customer requirements.

Work closely with production,



fabrication, and project teams to ensure design feasibility.

Ensure designs comply with industry standards, quality requirements, and manufacturing processes.

Maintain proper documentation and revision history of engineering drawings.

Support prototype development, testing, and product improvements.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve design-related issues.

Required Qualifications

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

2–5 years of experience as a SolidWorks Designer or Mechanical Design Engineer.

Robust proficiency in SolidWorks (3D Part Modeling, Assemblies, and Drawings).

Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.

Understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication, and engineering drawings.
