Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with genitourinary disorders.
Conduct a full range of urological surgeries, including open, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted procedures.
Provide expert care in the management of benign and malignant conditions of the kidneys, bladder, prostate, ureters, urethra, and male reproductive system.
Perform advanced surgical techniques such as cystectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, TURP, vasectomy, pyeloplasty, ureteral reimplantation, orchiectomy, and kidney stone surgery.
Implant and manage penile prostheses for patients with erectile dysfunction.
Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and imaging modalities to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, nephrologists, and other specialists in multidisciplinary care teams.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous professional development.
Mentor and train junior medical staff, residents, and medical students in urological procedures and patient management.
Maintain accurate, timely,
and compliant medical records in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Requirements
MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Urology (MD/MS in Urology) from a recognized medical institution.
Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or equivalent regulatory body.
Minimum of 1 year of postgraduate clinical experience in a hospital or tertiary care setting.
Proven expertise in performing advanced urological surgeries including cystectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, TURP, vasectomy, pyeloplasty, ureteral reimplantation, orchiectomy, kidney stone surgery, and penile prosthesis implantation.
Proficiency in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical techniques.
Robust diagnostic and decision-making skills with a patient-first approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and adherence to clinical guidelines.
Ability to work in a quick-paced, high-pressure workplace with attention to detail and precision.
Willingness to participate in on-call duties and emergency surgical interventions as required.
