# Role Purpose The Marketing Manager will build and operate IHL's Referral Engine.
This is not a conventional advertising or social-media-only role.
The primary responsibility is to create a powerful network of individuals, professionals, institutions and community influencers who can consistently introduce qualified participants to IHL programmes, workshops and events.
The person should be comfortable spending significant time outside the office meeting potential partners, building relationships, creating collaborations and converting those relationships into participant referrals.
