Job Purpose:

A logistic executive typically oversees and manages the logistical operations of a company or organization. Their responsibilities often include coordinating transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and ensuring productive distribution of goods or services. They play a crucial role in optimizing supply chain processes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement logistics strategies that support the company's objectives and meet customer requirements.
Coordinate and manage logistics operations including warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and distribution to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Negotiate and manage contracts with transportation and logistics service providers.
Monitor and analyse logistics performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
Ensure compliance with local, state,



and federal regulations governing transportation and logistics activities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless coordination of logistics activities.
Identify and implement best practices in logistics operations to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requisite Skills:
Advance Excel for MIS reports
Knowledge of Prevailing Customary Rules and Regulations
Should be systematic in document filing
Positive Verbal & Written communication.
Having experience of functional ERP.
