Position Summary The Manager / Sr. Manager / HOD / General Manager – Project Management & Technical Services will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, operational management, technical support, monitoring, and successful delivery of projects awarded to the Company.

For Operation & Maintenance (O&M;) contracts, the incumbent will be responsible for smooth service delivery, contractual compliance, client satisfaction, manpower management, operational performance, and adherence to applicable client SOPs, SLAs, OEM guidelines, quality standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.

The position requires strong leadership, technical understanding, project management capabilities, client coordination, and the ability to manage multiple projects and site teams across India.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Management, Planning & Execution

1. Plan, coordinate, and monitor projects from mobilization through execution, commissioning, completion, and handover.
2. Develop and monitor project schedules, milestones, resource requirements, and deliverables.
3. Ensure adequate manpower, equipment, tools, materials, PPE, transportation, accommodation, and other site resources.
4. Monitor project performance and take corrective action in case of delays, shortages, or execution gaps.
5. Ensure timely achievement of contractual and operational milestones.

2. Operation & Maintenance (O&M;) Contract Management

1. Manage O&M; contracts across power plants, substations, switchyards, transmission lines, renewable energy projects, and industrial facilities.
2. Ensure maintenance activities are performed according to client SOPs, OEM recommendations, approved maintenance schedules, and contractual requirements.
3. Monitor equipment availability, reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
4. Ensure effective execution of preventive, predictive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance activities.
5. Monitor contractual KPIs,



SLAs, service quality, and client requirements.
6. Identify recurring operational issues and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.

3. SOP Compliance & Project Execution Management

1. Ensure project activities are executed in accordance with approved SOPs, client specifications, contractual requirements, quality standards, safety requirements, and company procedures.
2. Monitor compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Identify deviations from approved procedures and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
4. Ensure site teams understand and comply with project-specific requirements.

4. Site Employee Performance & Productivity Management

1. Monitor site employee attendance, discipline, productivity, performance, and operational efficiency.
2. Review workforce deployment and utilization across projects.
3. Conduct periodic performance reviews and provide guidance for improvement.
4. Ensure optimum utilization of available manpower and resources.
5. Coordinate with HR and Operations for manpower shortages, replacements, mobilization, and performance-related matters.

5. Technical Support & Problem Resolution

1. Provide technical and operational guidance for project execution, erection, installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
2. Support site teams in resolving technical issues and operational bottlenecks.
3. Coordinate with clients, OEMs, vendors, and technical teams for resolution of critical issues.
4. Ensure technical compliance and timely achievement of project deliverables.

6. Vendor, Contractor & Resource Management

1. Support vendor and subcontractor identification, evaluation, development, and performance monitoring.
2. Coordinate resource requirements including manpower, tools, equipment, materials, and site infrastructure.
3.



Monitor vendor/contractor performance against agreed scope, quality, timelines, and project requirements.
4. Coordinate with Procurement, Commercial, HR, Finance, and Operations teams as required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATION

1. B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related Engineering discipline.
2. Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
3. Relevant project management or technical certifications will be an added advantage.

10–14 years of relevant professional experience in one or more of the following:

9. O&M; Services
10. Technical Services

Candidates should have proven experience in project execution, client management, resource planning, manpower management, vendor/contractor management, technical coordination, and site operations.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

1. Solid understanding of Project Management, O&M; Services, and Technical Operations.
2. Ability to manage multiple projects and O&M; contracts simultaneously.
3. Strong understanding of project planning, mobilization, scheduling, execution, commissioning, and handover.
4. Experience in client management, stakeholder coordination, and contractual compliance.
5. Knowledge of manpower planning, vendor development, procurement coordination, and resource management.
6. Strong analytical, decision-making, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities.

WORK LOCATION, TRAVEL & MOBILITY

1. The position will primarily be based at the Company's Bhilai / Raipur, Chhattisgarh office.
2. The incumbent must be willing to travel and undertake site visits/deployments across India based on project and operational requirements.
3. The role requires regular site inspections, client meetings, vendor visits, project reviews, and operational support.
4. Frequent travel to project sites, client locations, vendor facilities, manufacturing units, warehouses, and contractor locations may be required.
