Company Overview:

We are an OEM‑approved auto‑components vendor to TVS Motor Company, located in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, specializing in steel fabrication, mechanical assembly, and in‑house powder‑coating of automotive parts. This role is part of a cross‑functional team (production, planning, purchase, stores, quality, logistics) and drives end‑to‑end planning, scheduling, and shop‑floor control for high‑volume automotive components manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and schedule fabrication, assembly, and powder‑coating lines for auto‑components, aligned to TVS‑approved monthly/weekly plans and JIT / KANBAN‑style releases.
- Prepare and release production work orders and shop‑floor schedules to cutting, pressing, welding, machining (if any), assembly, and powder line, ensuring smooth flow through all process stages.
- Coordinate with purchase, stores, and production leadership to ensure timely availability of raw sheets, tubes, fasteners, and purchased components for automotive part manufacturing.
- Monitor on‑time production progress across fabrication → assembly → powder coating and track line‑wise utilization, downtime, yield, rework, and scrap for auto‑components.
- Maintain inventory control for raw material, WIP at each stage, and finished auto‑components to meet TVS‑delivery commitments and minimize overstock or stockouts.
- Lead daily cross‑functional reviews with production, quality, purchase, stores, and logistics to resolve delays, rejections, and expediting requests from OEM/Tier‑1 customers.
- Prepare and present daily/weekly KPI dashboards on OTD,



line‑wise performance, capacity, utilization, and quality metrics for auto‑components to management and commercial team.
- Ensure alignment with TVS‑aligned processes, PPAP, APQP, and vendor‑code requirements, including traceability and documentation for automotive parts manufacturing.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related field.

6–12 years of experience in PPC / production planning in automotive / auto‑components manufacturing, preferably as a manager or senior lead.

Prior experience in an OEM‑approved steel fabrication / auto‑components unit serving two‑wheeler or automotive customers is a strong plus.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of steel fabrication, assembly, and powder‑coating process flow for automotive / auto‑components parts.

Ability to work with BOMs, drawings, and production orders for complex fabricated automotive components.

Working knowledge of ERP / SAP / MRP / Excel‑based planning tools for scheduling, shop‑floor control, and KPI reporting in an auto‑components workplace.

Excellent coordination and communication skills to operate effectively within a cross‑functional team (production, planning, purchase, stores, quality, logistics, commercial).

Exposure to lean manufacturing, JIT, 5S, OTD, and continuous improvement in an automotive component manufacturing setup.
